世界的に有名なポップスター、レディー・ガガが、2015年に米国ューメキシコ州で開かれる音楽祭に合わせて宇宙から歌声を届けようと計画している。ガガは公式ツイッターで「2015年 ガガ 宇宙へ」とつぶやいた。英歌手サラ・ブライトマンも同じ2015年10月に国際宇宙ステーションから歌う計画を昨年10月に発表している。だが、ガガの参加する音楽祭「ゼロＧコロニー」は同年前半開催予定である。従ってガガが宇宙で歌う最初の有名人歌手になる。ガガは、ヴァージンギャラクティック社の宇宙船に搭乗する。宇宙空間という特殊環境のため、ガガは１カ月の発声練習が必要になる。また高額な生命保険にも入ることになるという。

She sent out an official tweet "Gaga in Space 2015." October last year, British singer, Sarah Brightman also announced her plan to sing from the International Space Station in October 2015. But the music festival, Zero G Colony in which Gaga will participate is scheduled to be held early in 2015. Accordingly, Gaga will be the first celebrity musician to sing in space. Gaga will take a ride in a Virgin Galactic spaceship. It is said that she has to do a month of vocal training because of the special atmosphere in space and she will pay a huge life insurance premium.
